What is Nord Anglia Education?
Nord Anglia Education is the world’s leading premium school organization. They are a family of 79 international schools, boarding schools and private schools located in 31 countries around the world. They educate more than 50,000 students between the ages of 2 and 18 years old.
The brief:
Using an existing design system consisting of 60+ components, I was responsible for integrating three independent schools with their brand into Nord's design system. Each school had 5 custom components that I was able to implement key design elements into the modular design system.
I interviewed each school to gain an understanding of its history of each school. This allowed me to see what they considered to be the key brand elements and take this into the design exploration.
2022
US Schools
There were 3 US schools that all used the same brand guidelines. The key difference was the secondary colour, which was for extracurricular activities. The core colours were navy blue and light blue and were used in combination with white in the designs. The other graphic elements of their brand were a triangle but were used subtly as a decorative asset.
Collège Champittet
Collège Champittet is a Swiss school and its core colours are navy blue and red. They wanted their website to show how premium the school is, so didn't want heavy blocks of navy blue. I used navy blue sparingly throughout and used a white and light blue to break up the flow of the page.

Collège de Léman is a Swiss school and it's core colour is navy blue. They wanted their website to show how premium the school is, so didn't want big blocks of dark blue. They have secondary colours of red, yellow and light blue which I used for secondary information.
